Roller Conveyors

Minimum or zero pressure roller, Gravity, and Pallet conveyors.

Roller conveyors

Together with belt conveyors, roller conveyors are the most widespread in the market for the transport of all types of products, including, for example, boxes, crates, cases, packs, trays, etc.

In the case of minimum pressure conveyors, the rollers are driven by a V-belt on which the roller rests with a graduated pressure that allows the accumulation of the products with a minimum pressure between them.

For the "zero pressure" system, the rollers are grouped in sections equivalent to the longest length of the conveyed products, coupled roller to roller by means of belts that link each group to a motor roller. A sensor system that controls the stop and start of each section allows the accumulation of the product as required, without contact between them.

Construction

All conveyor systems manufactured by EK roboter are characterized by their structural robustness and by the quality and reliability of their mechanical components. The frames are built with CNC equipment for laser cutting of sheet metal (carbon steel or stainless steel), and subsequent bending. The finishing is done with powder painting by electrostatic adhesion system.

In the case of roller conveyors, they are made of zinc-plated carbon steel of 50.8 mm. diameter with a hexagonal shaft of 11 mm. which reduces the noise level considerably.

Adjustable width handrails and legs with height and inclination adjustment facilitate the adaptation to the most demanding applications.

Various models of roller conveyors are included in our delivery program, from simple non-driven rollers, to motorized systems with minimum or zero pressure, to motorized roll-to-roll systems for pallet conveying and large loads.
