Pallet Dispenser

Tailor-made for every need, with hydraulic or geared motor control.

The pallet dispenser automates the unstacking and dispensing process of pallets on a conveyor or trolley. By means of a forklift, the stack of pallets is loaded into the dispenser, which delivers them one by one and on demand of the production process.

Versions

Two different versions of the dispenser allow the pallet unstacking operation to be carried out, either 2-way (allowing the forklift nails to enter from only two sides) or 4-way (allowing the forklift nails to enter from all 4 sides).

Uses

The dispenser is an equipment that performs the up and down movement of the pallet column by means of a mechanism composed of a geared motor coupled to a shaft that transmits the up and down movement to the support arms of the pallet column by means of two ASA 80 chains, each with a load capacity of 1500kg. This guarantees a load capacity much higher than the working load, and provides a smooth, reliable and safe operation, thus guaranteeing a minimum of maintenance.

It is important to highlight that the control of the up and down movement through the use of a geared motor represents a remarkable advantage over other dispensers in the market that are supplied equipped for this movement with hydraulic actuators, elements that suffer a lot of wear and tear and often fail due to loss of oil pressure, either by failure of seals, hoses, couplings, hydraulic power packs, etc.

The dispensing mechanism is mounted on the pallet column support arms by means of folding nails controlled by pneumatic actuators. A great advantage of the Pallet Dispenser manufactured by EK roboter S.A. is that it allows, in a simple way and without special tooling, the width adjustment to dispense pallets of dimensions between 800x800 mm. and 1200x1200 mm. However, we have manufactured special dispensers for pallets outside the standard "europallet" dimensions, and of various sizes, including those with lengths up to 2000 mm.

Design

The elegant design of the equipment and its robust construction with top brand materials and components ensure a minimum of moving parts, resulting in a minimum maintenance requirement, which maximizes its uptime. The automatic pallet dispenser is fitted as standard with low pallet level sensors, and its operating logic is PLC controlled.

A complete operational test at the factory prior to delivery ensures the immediate start-up of the equipment, once installed and connected at its destination. The parts in contact with the pallets are provided with zinc-plated finish, to resist wear due to friction, and the rest of the equipment is finished with electrostatically applied polyurethane powder paint.
